Twelfth Night is noted as being one of Shakespeare’s most studied and most well-loved plays. It’s also one of his most popular comedies. It tells the tale of twins, Viola and Sebastian. Separated in a shipwreck in which Sebastian believes Viola has died, the stage is set for one of Shakespeare’s archetypal comedies of mistaken identity.

So while Viola, dressed as a boy, falls hopelessly in love with the Duke, so Sebastian falls for the object of the Duke’s affection, Olivia, who in turn, is hopelessly in love with disguised-as-a-boy Viola. Still with us?
