Hello!

And welcome to our website!

We've been putting on theatre productions in Edinburgh for 60 years. We tend to do four a year. A mix of contemporary to classic.

Recent years have seen us do shows by people like Mark Ravenhill, Abi Morgan, Patrick Marber, Martin McDonagh and Caryl Churchill. But we've also revisited classics from Brecht, Sophocles and of course, William Shakespeare.

We're always on the lookout for new people to get involved and auditions are open to everyone. So, whether you're interested in appearing on stage or keeping busy behind the scenes, do get in touch. We'd love to hear from you.

Right now, we're in rehearsals for our two Fringe shows. We're excited to return to the Royal Scots Club for another action-packed week. The earlier show (6:30pm) will be Volpone by Ben Jonson, newly adapted and directed by Martin Foreman. Our later show (9pm) will be a new work, beauty, written and directed by Claire Wood and Alan Patterson. Tickets for our fringe shows can only be purchased in advance through the Edinburgh Fringe Festival webpage here.

We conclude our season in December with a Christmas-themed surreal black comedy, Reckless by Craig Lucas directed by David Grimes. Auditions for this show will be held on Sunday the 23rd and Sunday the 30th of July, from 12:00-17:00 each day. You only need to attend one audition day. All the information for the auditions can be found here!

We hope you are all as excited about our new slate of five shows as we are. Please, get in touch and get involved!
