And welcome to our website!

We've been putting on theatre productions in Edinburgh for 60 years. We tend to do four a year. A mix of contemporary to classic.

Recent years have seen us do shows by people like Mark Ravenhill, Abi Morgan, Patrick Marber, Martin McDonagh and Caryl Churchill. But we've also revisited classics from Brecht, Sophocles and of course, William Shakespeare.

We're always on the lookout for new people to get involved and auditions are open to everyone. So, whether you're interested in appearing on stage or keeping busy behind the scenes, do get in touch. We'd love to hear from you.

Our first show, being held in May, will be Shakespeare's blood thirsty Titus Andronicus, directed by David Grimes. Titus is being produced under the RSC OpenStages programme in conjunction with Dundee Rep. Tickets are now available to purchase at the Purchase Tickets Page

We are pleased to announce audition dates for our two shows to be performed at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Our early play will be the Jacobean supernatural drama The Witch of Edmonton, directed by David Grimes. Our later play will be Ariel Dorfman's modern classic Death and the Maiden, directed by Claire Wood. Auditions for both shows will be held concurrently on Sunday, April 12th beginning at 14:00 and again on Wednesday, April 15th beginning at 19:30. Auditions will be held at our premises at 19 Buccleuch Place (in the Graduate Association offices). You only need to attend one audition day and you may audition for both productions. More information about each production, role requirements, and audition particulars can be found following the individual show links above.

The fall will see us mount Alan Ayckbourn's Wildest Dreams, directed by Sara-Jane McGeachy.

To find out more about any of our productions, please see their individual entries on the production page. Please check back often, as we will update the information on the productions, including audition information, through out the year.
